SEABOTS to showcase cutting-edge marine robotics at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024

SEABOTS will take part in the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the world’s leading event on urban innovation, from November 5th to 7th, 2024. The event will take place at Fira de Barcelona-Gran Via, located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), and will bring together the global community of city innovators, technology leaders, and industry stakeholders.

At the Catalan Government’s stand (Espai Àgora), SEABOTS will present its latest marine robotics solutions designed for exploring and monitoring marine ecosystems. These cutting-edge innovations align with the Congress’ vision of making cities smarter and more sustainable by addressing urban challenges, particularly in the management and protection of marine environments.

Key highlights of SEABOTS’ participation

One of the key points of the presentations at the Espai Àgora. SEABOTS will showcase its ongoing Proof of Concept (PoC) with the Catalan Water Agency (Agència Catalana de l’Aigua, ACA), highlighting its advanced technologies for marine data collection and environmental protection. The PoC emphasizes how marine robotics can contribute to the monitoring of water bodies and aquatic health, offering insights into smarter water management solutions for cities.

Additionally, SEBOTS will participate in the Sustainable Ocean Summit. As part of the Blue Economy track, SEABOTS will also feature prominently at the Sustainable Ocean Summit—held within the SCEWC premises and organized by the World Ocean Council. The Summit is recognized as one of the most influential events in the Blue Economy, providing SEABOTS with a platform to discuss the intersection of marine innovation and urban sustainability.
